Global Hotel Operator – Market Entry and Franchise Structuring

Advised an international global hotel operator of luxury and ultra-luxury brands on market entry into Japan based on a novel "franchise light" business hotel development model for a  property in Kyoto, Japan.  Developed an alternative investment structure to allow the client to form a joint venture with a domestic third-party operating company and license development rights under a structure compliant with Japanese law.
